2008 Arctic Winter Games

The 2008 Arctic Winter Games hosted in Yellowknife included participants from Alaska, Greenland, the Northwest Territories, Nunavik Quebec, Nunavut, Northern Alberta, Russia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and the Yukon Territory. The participants competed in a variety of events including but not limited to alpine skiing, ice hockey, badminton, indoor soccer, snowshoe biathlon, basketball, biathlon, curling, gymnastics, table tennis, Inuit games, and wrestling.
